Requirements

Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified.
Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems and other security technology.
Excellent conflict management abilities with a calm and assertive demeanor.
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security best practices.
Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts.
Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations.

Responsibilities

Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or breaches in security.
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential hazards or unauthorized access.
Control access points by verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, or conflicts, utilizing conflict management skills.
Assist with loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism and reporting findings appropriately.
Provide first aid or CPR when necessary, ensuring immediate response to medical emergencies.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during incidents requiring external assistance.
