About The Position

Porters Neck Village is a premier independent living retirement community located in the scenic Porters Neck area in Wilmington, North Carolina. We are looking for dedicated and hardworking individuals to work in our hospitality focused culture. We are currently considering candidates for a hospitality focused Security Guard . Candidates must have valid NC Driver License and satisfactory driving record as well as a desire to join a great team dedicated to providing outstanding and superior hospitality in a beautiful work environment. This position is full time and the schedule is three 6pm-6am shifts and pays $16/hr. Full time benefits include paid time off, health and dental insurance, and use of the community's fitness center. Scholarship opportunities Employee Referral Program DailyPay - access your earnings the same day you work Clean and well-maintained community Essential work duties include but are not limited to: Makes scheduled rounds both inside and outside the buildings to maintain a secure environment for residents and their property as well as company property. Responds to all fire alarms and emergency calls. Assists with emergencies including hurricane, fire, etc. Sets and checks resident apartment door monitor system. Performs light maintenance as time allows such as changing light bulbs, and similar assignments. Delivers newspapers and other materials to resident homes as needed.
