Requirements

Prior experience in security, public safety, or law enforcement is preferred
A high school diploma or equivalent
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
The ability to stay calm and think clearly in high-stress situations
A professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information
The ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods of time
Basic computer skills for logging reports and accessing security systems
Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus

Responsibilities

Patrolling hotel property regularly, including guest floors, back-of-house, parking areas, and perimeter
Monitoring surveillance systems and responding promptly to alarms or suspicious activity
Assisting with emergency situations such as evacuations, injuries, or disturbances
Responding to guest or associate concerns with professionalism and discretion
Completing detailed reports and incident documentation as needed
Working closely with hotel leadership to ensure safety procedures are followed
Assisting with lost-and-found procedures and managing access control to restricted areas
Providing a visible presence that promotes guest confidence and deters potential incidents
