Job Description Our Maintenance Director oversees keeping our residents living areas well-kept and serviced to high standards. You should also be able to resolve resident complaint and queries promptly and in a polite manner. You are the right candidate if you are pleasant, detailed oriented and friendly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to communicate verbally and in written form and cooperate effectively with others
- Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position
- Trained security officer with diploma
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Surveillance skills with orientation to detail
- Integrity and professionalism
Responsibilities
- Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
- Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences and develop reports for use by leadership
- Report in detail (verbally and in written form) any suspicious incidents
- Patrol building and perimeter randomly and regularly
- Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
- Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment
