Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and support security-related operations through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will help to deter incidents, respond to site needs, and represent a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and committed to acting with integrity.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response support within a defense-related location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and support compliance with location protocols for restricted or sensitive areas.
- Support day-to-day security-related operations by communicating with site contacts, assisting with incident response, and maintaining awareness of changing conditions across the location.
