About The Position

We are looking for a motivated candidate to join our Team as a Security Guard!! Our Security Guard will monitor the facility and protect property from possible criminal activity.

Requirements

Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
Authoritative verbal communication skills.
Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
Ability to learn the layout of the property and buildings.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience a plus, but not required.
Valid Driver’s License required.
Ability to patrol the property and access areas quickly.
Ability to enter and exit vehicle and push gates open or close and during potential extreme weather.
Prolonged periods sitting in a vehicle and monitoring gates and surveillance equipment.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.

Responsibilities

Patrols and monitors an assigned area; reports suspicious activities to management.
Monitors surveillance cameras, inspects property, and monitors facility traffic.
Contacts law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency.
After business hours, checks doors, windows, and gates to ensure the property is secure.
Investigates reports of suspicious activity on the property.
Identifies persons suspected of criminal activity and reports information to law enforcement.
Ensures discharged staff, trespassers, and other unwelcome parties do not enter the premises.
Inspects and maintains cleanliness of assigned vehicles.
Ensures fixed and mobile light fixtures are operating.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
