As a Security Guard - Telecom Facility Patrol in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post. Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as required by site-specific policies.
Document and communicate incidents, observations, and any unusual occurrences according to established protocols.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to help maintain a secure environment within a tech and media setting.
