As a Security Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will conduct routine, high-visibility patrols, monitor assigned areas, and support access control to help to deter security-related incidents. You will be a friendly point of contact for employees and visitors, document observations, and communicate clearly with site partners. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by following post orders, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor entry points and control access by greeting visitors and contractors, verifying identification, issuing badges, and maintaining visitor and delivery logs.
- Observe and report unusual conditions, alarms, and/or security-related incidents using radio and written reports, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with de-escalation, crowd management, and/or site evacuations when directed by policy.
