About the position

The Overnight Security Guard at Saint Mary Home is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by patrolling the premises, observing activities, investigating incidents, and responding to inquiries at the switchboard. This part-time position requires effective communication skills and the ability to work independently during night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the premises to ensure safety and security.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or incidents.
• Investigate disturbances and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Answer the switchboard and assist with inquiries.
• Perform off-shift receptionist duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in security work or maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to work independently and manage situations firmly but politely.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
