Requirements

• 1-2 years of previous security experience.
• Must be able to speak, read, comprehend and write legibly in English.
• Must be able to comprehend and perform oral and written instructions and procedures, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and operating manuals.
• Possess a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Successful completion of the 20-hour Security Training Program conducted by a local Community College preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond immediately to all 911 calls and direct emergency personnel while maintaining crowd control.
• Maintain effective logs and reports to detail events at The Lutheran Home.
• Conduct investigations into incidents such as criminal activity, theft or threatening behaviors on campus.
• Promote positive interpersonal relationships with team members, residents, and their visitors through a professional image and welcoming attitude.
