As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post, so you will use a company or site vehicle to cover designated areas, document observations, and escalate concerns with integrity and teamwork.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to the client and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Control access by checking identification, verifying visitor and delivery information, maintaining logs, and directing contractors and drivers to designated areas per site procedures.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, and other building systems as assigned, and complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and notifications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
