As a Security Guard - Warehouse Patrol Driver in South Chesterfield, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role includes providing outstanding customer service and clear communication, supporting a secure environment for staff and visitors. Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents within the facility.
- Communicate clearly with team members and site management regarding security-related matters.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site policies.
- Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations or drills as needed.
