You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide clear, professional customer service to employees and guests. Requirements

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Control access at designated entrances by verifying identification, managing visitor registration, issuing temporary credentials, and directing arrivals to the appropriate check-in points.
  • Monitor and document incoming and outgoing traffic, including deliveries and service providers, by completing required logs, checking authorization, and communicating irregularities to site leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical situations, alarms, and policy violations, and notify the appropriate parties as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, staging areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
