Job Description As a Security Guard - Vehicle Patrol Driver in Lima, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Officer in an automotive environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure atmosphere. Your presence and proactive approach will support a welcoming environment for all visitors and personnel. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor for and report any irregularities, such as security breaches, facility and/or equipment damage, theft, and/or presence of unauthorized persons.
  • Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and contractors, providing assistance as needed while maintaining site protocols.
  • Document and communicate any incidents, observations, or issues to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
  • Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal leadership specific to the automotive environment.
