As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech and media location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A minimum of 1 year of security experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to onsite employees, visitors, and vendors while following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and media location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site contacts and public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, labs, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas during patrols, assist with visitor directions and/or deliveries, and help to maintain orderly movement through the location.
• Complete timely reports and logs of patrol activity, incidents, and observations using site reporting tools and/or required documentation.
