About The Position

As a Security Guard - Utility Patrol Driver in Oregon, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, deliver outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately during emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor for any irregularities and report findings in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and observing entry and exit points as needed.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
