As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location serving the community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and provide respectful customer service during daily interactions. Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, assist with visitor management, and/or support orderly entry and exit consistent with location rules and posted requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification to site leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
• Complete security-related reports and activity logs, communicate observations to supervisors and/or site personnel, and support shift change briefings as required.
