As a Security Guard - Unarmed Roving Patrol in Washington, DC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and responding to situations as needed. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

A guard card or license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to clients, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, maintenance issues, or security-related hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Assist in emergency response activities, following established procedures for fire alarms, medical emergencies, or other incidents.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to occupants of the location.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Collaborate with property management and/or law enforcement as directed by site protocols.
