As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to guests and tenants. Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Having a valid guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
- Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or unusual occurrences to appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
- Communicate professionally with property staff, tenants, and visitors while upholding Allied Universal standards.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as directed.
- Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter potential issues within the commercial real estate environment.
