Job Description As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol in Chandler, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and support access control and customer service for employees and visitors. Requirements

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and employees by following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal post orders at a technology location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity or access concerns.
• Control access by verifying credentials, managing visitor and contractor check-in and/or check-out, and directing authorized personnel to the correct areas per site policy.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete detailed patrol activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant observations during shift handoff to support consistent security-related coverage.
