As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and respond to reports with calm, clear communication. You will support tenants and visitors with a customer-service mindset while using teamwork, integrity, and innovative thinking to help keep daily operations running smoothly.

Requirements

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior and exterior areas, including lobbies, parking areas, stairwells, and perimeter points, documenting conditions and unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and help manage authorized entry for visitors and deliveries, verifying credentials when required and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating notifications and escalation per post orders.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and maintenance or hazard observations, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or property management as needed.
