As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Operations in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all. Requirements

At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and along its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, property damage, or suspicious persons.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members.
Document incidents and daily activities as required by site-specific protocols.
