Job Description As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Officer in Saint Louis, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Lift More Than 20 lbs - preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as Portable Toilets, Rustic Guard Shack.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or public resources as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, reporting concerns and completing required documentation such as incident reports and activity logs.
• Operate radios, phones, and basic monitoring systems as assigned, and coordinate with site representatives to support daily operations and special events.
