Job Description As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Waukee, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a leading tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing exceptional customer service through clear communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related risks, or hazards within the location.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and any security-related activities as required by site policies.
Collaborate with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and/or law enforcement if necessary to address incidents or emergencies.
Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site protocols.
