About The Position

As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Orange, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This is a driving post, so you will operate a vehicle as part of your patrols. You will also deliver outstanding customer service and communication, embodying our agile, reliable, and people-first values while working as part of a dedicated team.

Requirements

  • A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the government location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
  • Monitor for suspicious activity and report any security-related incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, staff, and/or local authorities as needed.
  • Document observations and/or incidents in a timely and accurate manner as required by site-specific policies.
