About The Position

As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Fresno, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, which may include both indoor and outdoor areas within a technology, media, or telecom environment.
Observe and report any unusual activity and/or potential risks to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and helping to deter unauthorized access.
Support emergency response protocols as directed by site-specific guidelines.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
Complete required reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
