Job Description As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Orange, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This is a driving post, so you will operate a vehicle as part of your patrols. You will also deliver outstanding customer service and communication, embodying our agile, reliable, and people-first values while working as part of a dedicated team.

Requirements

A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the government location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report any security-related incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, staff, and/or local authorities as needed.
Document observations and/or incidents in a timely and accurate manner as required by site-specific policies.
