Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A Guard Card or License is preferred.
Experience with customer service is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations throughout the residential community in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols within the residential location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential issues.
Document observations and/or incidents in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and client requirements.
Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, and staff to support a positive environment and address security-related concerns as needed.
