As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will support staff and visitors with strong customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. Requirements

Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
Be 21+ years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, corridors, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter spaces, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns per post orders.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
Control access by verifying identification and/or authorization, assisting with visitor check-in directions, and monitoring restricted areas and sensitive workspaces per site requirements.
Complete patrol logs and incident reports, communicate shift activity during post transitions, and support security-related investigations by preserving observations and reporting details promptly.
