As a Security Guard - Unarmed Hospital Patrol in Canonsburg, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service, clear communication, and quick reporting of concerns. Requirements
- Hospital: Vaccines is required.
- Hospital: Morgue is required.
- 21+ Years of Age is required.
- Hospital: Restrain Individuals is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through required communication and documentation channels.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards requiring attention.
- Support access control by monitoring entry points, checking credentials when directed, and helping to maintain orderly movement of visitors, vendors, and staff.
- Assist with security-related patient and visitor support as assigned, such as providing directions, escorting individuals when requested, and coordinating with site leadership and/or local responders as needed.
