As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a government setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• A valid guard card or security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the location's needs.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the government site and its perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or hazards encountered during patrols.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related concerns.
• Adapt to varying working environments and conditions as required by the government location.
