Your presence and proactive communication will create a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or address security-related concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors and employees with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site protocols.
Complete required logs, reports, and other documentation related to security-related activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
