As a Security Guard - Unarmed Driving Patrol in Washington, DC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer, where you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a government location. You will primarily be responsible for driving assigned routes, interacting with the public, and providing outstanding customer service while upholding our core values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify any potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents in accordance with company and client protocols.
Interact with the public and/or employees in a courteous and professional manner while representing Allied Universal.
Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits as required by the location's procedures.
Assist in emergency response activities, including evacuations and/or providing information to first responders if needed.
