About The Position

As a Security Guard - Unarmed Distribution Center in Whitestown, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of all patrols, incidents, and observations in alignment with company and client protocols.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding any incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences observed during patrol duties.
• Support a secure environment for personnel, visitors, and property by remaining alert and attentive during assigned shifts.
