About The Position
As a Security Guard - Unarmed Clinical Patrol in Natrona Heights, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for assistance, communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors, and support a caring environment through strong customer service. Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to work at a hospital site that administers vaccines.
- Must be able to work at a hospital morgue.
- Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation support and promptly notifying appropriate site personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, clinics, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and interior areas by observing foot traffic, checking credentials and/or visitor badges as required, and directing individuals to appropriate entrances, departments, and waiting areas.
- Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts per post orders.
