As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal in an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help prevent potential issues, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report any suspicious circumstances.
- Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activity.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, addressing questions or concerns as needed.
- Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or issues according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
