About The Position

As a Security Guard - Telecom Patrols Full-Time in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned tech and media locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and support access control measures. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business environment and perimeter, which may include office spaces, media facilities, and technology areas.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or irregularities within the location to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
Collaborate with site staff and visitors to offer assistance and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Follow established protocols for access control, visitor management, and property protection within the technology, media, and telecom setting.
