Job Description As a Security Guard - Telecom Patrol in Plainfield, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will contribute to a secure environment by conducting routine patrols and supporting access control, all while embodying our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, suspicious behavior, or hazards, following established protocols.
Assist visitors and personnel with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to address security-related concerns and support daily operations.
Document and communicate all incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
