Job Description As a Security Guard - Telecom Patrol in Plainfield, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will contribute to a secure environment by conducting routine patrols and supporting access control, all while embodying our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, suspicious behavior, or hazards, following established protocols.
  • Assist visitors and personnel with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to address security-related concerns and support daily operations.
  • Document and communicate all incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
