As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment, you will play a critical role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated areas. Your presence will help to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. You will utilize technology such as computers or tablets to assist with access control procedures, verify credentials, and respond to incidents or requests for assistance. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential, as you will interact with a diverse range of individuals and help to provide a welcoming atmosphere. This position requires a valid driver's license in the job state, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your daily responsibilities. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in the job state for driving positions.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related inquiries and directions.
• Carry out security-related procedures and respond to incidents and/or emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Document and report all security-related activities, incidents, and irregularities as required by site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential concerns, adapting to the dynamic environment of a technology and media-focused location.
• Collaborate with on-site personnel and Allied Universal management to maintain clear communication regarding security-related matters at the location.
