As a Security Guard - Tech/Media Patrol Driver Full-Time in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic technology-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your presence and regular patrols help to deter security-related incidents, while your commitment to excellent customer service and communication supports an inviting atmosphere. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a company or client vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
Monitor the premises for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings according to established protocols.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with site access and general inquiries while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns.
Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately in daily reports or logs as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as directed during incidents or emergencies.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential risks and provide reassurance to those onsite.
