Job Description As a Security Guard - Tech Full-Time Driver Patrol in Santa Clara, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer supporting a high-profile tech location, you will complete mobile and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist with access control and incident response. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver a welcoming customer experience. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting activities and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or public services as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, labs, common areas, parking areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
Control access at designated entry points by confirming authorization, managing visitor check-in, issuing temporary badges as directed, and directing guests to appropriate destinations.
Monitor alarm panels, door status indicators, and video surveillance systems as assigned, and report suspicious activity and/or maintenance concerns through established channels.
Support a professional workplace environment by enforcing site rules related to prohibited items, restricted areas, and after-hours access in accordance with post orders.
Perform interior and exterior rounds to identify unsecured doors, lighting issues, and other conditions that could impact operations, and report findings to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Complete detailed shift activity reports, incident reports, and daily logs in a timely manner, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information encountered at the location.
Assist with emergency procedures such as evacuations, severe weather actions, and medical response coordination per site protocols and Allied Universal guidance.
Communicate clearly with site personnel, vendors, and fellow officers via radio, phone, and written reports to coordinate responses and maintain consistent post coverage.
