As an Allied Universal Security Officer specializing in access control at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials to help control entry and exit at the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document relevant details.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Report and document any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address questions and/or concerns related to access control.
  • Work closely with Allied Universal management and location representatives to support security-related operations and/or emergency response activities.
