About The Position
The Security Guard Supervisor is responsible for managing a secure entrance and perimeter for the facility. This role involves learning all the jobs of immediate staff, ensuring the completion and accuracy of reports done by staff, and completing daily and weekly reports as needed. The supervisor will supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of staff, implementing disciplinary procedures when necessary. Additionally, the supervisor will resolve employee conflicts and issues promptly and objectively, maintain direct communication with the company and outside services, and work in the Order Management System/Shop Floor. Coordination with the Plant Shipping/Shag Service/Traffic and the Traffic Department to manage shipping dates, times, and locations is also required. The supervisor will maintain logs for inbound and outbound trucks, attend scheduled meetings, and report to the Safety Manager. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
