About The Position

Delaware North Gaming is seeking full-time Security Guards to join the team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. The role involves maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and team members, adhering to Arkansas Gaming Commission standards and operational policies. Requirements

• No high school diploma or GED required
• Security guard, state certified
• Able to be licensed by state gaming commission
• Highly motivated and takes initiative
• Team-oriented; ability to work effectively with others
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Hold and maintain a valid driver's license, pass a motor vehicle record check, and drug test
• Operate a motor vehicle when necessary

Responsibilities

• Enforce rules and regulations of the local gaming commission
• Adhere to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures
• Report any incidents, following all departmental and organizational policies and procedures, and report any procedural violations and illegal activity
• Fill out departmental log forms, verifying all paperwork is complete and turned in at the conclusion of shifts
• Process guest complaints, using active listening skills to control difficult situations, and communicate with guests sensitively and with care
• Hold and maintain a valid driver's license, pass a motor vehicle record check, and drug test
• Operate a motor vehicle when necessary
