About The Position
As a Security Guard Site Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to support appropriate follow-up with property management and/or emergency personnel.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations to help to identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, observe activity across the property, and document incidents, disturbances, and policy violations in accordance with site expectations and Allied Universal standards.
- Support daily operations at the location by assisting with directions, answering questions, and communicating professionally with tenants, guests, vendors, and/or building personnel.
