As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence to support loss prevention efforts. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. You'll engage with customers and staff, delivering exceptional service while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting as needed based on the situation and protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Collaborate with store staff and/or management as needed to address security-related matters and support a welcoming environment for customers.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, patrol activities, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Remain visible and approachable to provide assistance and help to deter unauthorized activity within the retail environment.
