As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all visitors. Your presence and attentiveness will support a positive experience while you conduct routine patrols and interact with customers. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties, reflecting our commitment to reliability and teamwork.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or situations to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors and employees with directions and general inquiries to promote a welcoming environment.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting any irregularities.
• Collaborate with store management and team members to address security-related issues as they arise.
