Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a retail distribution environment.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, contractors, and visitors as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or irregularities to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including guiding individuals during evacuation or shelter-in-place situations as directed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure and welcoming environment.
