Job Description As a Security Guard - Residential Patrol Driver in Lahaina, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential areas to help create a secure environment for residents and guests. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the location by vehicle as well as on foot, embodying our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity every day.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around residential areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or property damage throughout the residential community.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary and/or directed by site management.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry points and assisting residents and visitors as needed.
