As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling key areas within a logistics and distribution environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide excellent customer service and communication to all personnel and visitors. Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel according to site-specific policies.
Carry out security-related procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activities within the facility.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business and perimeter to observe and report any irregularities or security-related concerns.
Document and report all security-related activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site policies.
Support emergency response activities as directed, maintaining clear communication with Allied Universal management and site contacts.
